Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 1, 2026
Last updated: July 1, 2026
This policy explains what data Ujjina Player processes, why it is used, how it is protected, and how you can request deletion of your account and associated data.
1. About this policy
Ujjina Tecnología Diferente develops and operates Ujjina Player, a professional application for playing audio and video signals configured by the user on Android and iOS.
This policy applies to the use of Ujjina Player, its authentication services, license control, support and related features. It also describes practices aligned with Peru's Personal Data Protection Law No. 29733, its Regulations, and app store privacy requirements.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account information
When you sign in, we process your email address and the technical information required to authenticate your account through Firebase Authentication.
2.2 License and authorized device
To protect licenses and control the number of authorized devices, we record technical data such as hashed device identifier, platform, app package or identifier, product, app version, operating system or SDK version, manufacturer, model, first registration date and last activity date.
We do not store the raw system identifier when a derived identity is used. We use a hash or equivalent technical identifier to recognize the same device and avoid duplicating seats after reinstalling the app.
2.3 History, favorites and URLs
URLs, saved sources, playback history, favorites and app preferences are stored locally on your device to make the player easier to use.
Ujjina Player's current logic does not send your URLs, keys, server addresses or private playlists to Ujjina servers.
2.4 Analytics and app operation
Ujjina Player may use Firebase Analytics to obtain general metrics about usage, stability and app operation, such as app version, device type, operating system, screens used, session events and aggregated performance data.
This data is used to improve stability, detect experience issues and prioritize fixes. We do not sell this data or use it for our own targeted advertising.
2.5 Local network sources and playback protocols
When you use local source discovery or network protocol features, the app may locally process source names, local network addresses, ports, technical formats and connection status to display and play available signals.
This data is used to play the signal selected by the user and is not sent to Ujjina unless the user voluntarily shares it when requesting support.
2.6 Support requests
If you contact us for support, we may process your email, name, contact number, issue description, technical data you send and voluntary evidence such as screenshots or filtered logs.
3. How we use information
- Authentication: to allow sign-in and protect app access.
- Licensing: to validate accounts, authorized devices, usage limits, blocks and reactivations.
- Playback: to connect the device to signals, servers or sources selected by the user.
- Local experience: to store history, favorites and preferences on the device.
- Security: to prevent abuse, unauthorized license duplication and improper access.
- Support: to diagnose reported problems and respond to user requests.
- Technical improvement: to analyze aggregated operation data when analytics are enabled.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information.
We use Google Firebase services for authentication, database, operational security and analytics. Google processes data under its own terms and privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Audio and video signals are obtained from servers or sources configured by the user. Ujjina does not control those external servers or the policies of the parties operating those signals.
5. Processing location
Firebase services and other technical providers may process data on servers located in the United States or other countries where they maintain infrastructure.
By using Ujjina Player, you accept that data required for authentication, licensing, support and technical operation may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence in accordance with this policy.
6. Security
Communications with remote services use secure mechanisms available on the platform and services used. Firebase uses secure transport and encryption in its managed services.
Firestore rules are designed to prevent public listing, unauthorized creation or deletion by clients. Each authenticated user can only access their license document and register devices within the allowed limits.
No electronic system is completely infallible. We maintain reasonable measures to reduce risks and review incidents when they are reported.
7. Retention
- Account: retained while the account is active or needed for support, security, commercial or legal compliance.
- Licenses and devices: retained while there is a commercial relationship or a reasonable need to prevent abuse, seat duplication or pending support issues.
- History and favorites: stored locally until the user deletes them, clears app data or uninstalls the app.
- Analytics: retained according to the active Firebase/Google Analytics configuration and applicable provider policies.
- Support: retained as long as needed to handle the request and maintain reasonable operational evidence.
8. User rights
Under applicable law, you may request access, correction, update, objection, withdrawal of consent or deletion of your personal data.
To exercise these rights, contact us at soporte@ujjina.com or use our account and data deletion page: ujjinaplayer.ujjina.com/delete-data.
We may request reasonable information to verify that the request belongs to the account holder.
9. Data we do not deliberately collect
10. Minimum age
Ujjina Player is not directed to children under 13. If we detect that data from a minor was processed without valid authorization, we will address the corresponding deletion after receiving a verifiable request.
11. Consent and professional use
By signing in and using Ujjina Player, you accept this Privacy Policy and authorize the processing of data required for authentication, licensing, playback, security and support.
If you do not agree, you should not use the application and may request account deletion as described in this policy.
12. Applicable law
This policy is interpreted under applicable personal data protection regulations, including Peruvian law where applicable. Claims may be addressed by Ujjina and, if applicable, by the competent authority.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect technical, legal or commercial changes. The current version will be published on this page with its update date.
